CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
The last NR was a very positive development.
- Small cash infusion for shareholders. Achieved via latest agreement.
- 40% reduction in operations
- Desert Fox operating separately for exploration & acquisitions, Specifically:The formation of Desert Fox provides maximum flexibility to Copper Fox in determining its future dealings with its 25% interest in the Schaft Creek Joint Venture
- Detailed descriptions on what will be done next on Van Dyke and Sombrero Butte.
- Drilling has mobilized. The results should start coming out next month (as Teck does not waste time on their own projects).
Going forward: we have the EA application due to be submitted by Q3 end of September. Lets see if Teck can accomplish that deadline.
Does anyone have further information regarding the EA application?
I will try to contact when I have some time to find out how far along it has gone. Because that will be a HUGE catalyst for this project. Just the submission will be a big deal because the majors will have a pretty good idea if it wll be approved (friendly gov'ts). Especially since it seems the "Moose Study" was the biggest impact on wildlife. No Fish = No Worries.
