CG made this statement numerous times but here is a quote from one of them:
The only thing I have ever heard, word for word, from Elmer is this quote:
"You won't believe the numbers."

There is no point blaming other people for their past enthusiasm or trying to insinuate they are somehow on the company payroll, or pumping. It's the venture, it's risky, and we all know that ultimately we are on our own.
What the company says, on the other hand, is important. Personally, having spoken with Elmer many times, I don't understand this statement coming from him at all. Having said that, he has said very positive things about results that seemed very mediocre. For example, when the drilling showed something like .02% copper and we were all disappointed, Elmer was quite pleased. He said that was a significant amount of copper, 20X rock, that showed a new trend. I have noticed a disconnect between his understanding of the geology and the significance of results compared to ours in the past.
I don't know what the context was in the conversation with CG, but I am willing to believe there was a point to it that we're missing in isolating the quote. At the end of the day I'm more worried about how I'm going to get out of this going forward, and what is happening right now.
