I think this is how some phone conversations and face-to-face chats with CUU directors have been misconstrued in the past. The difference here is that you provided us with your questions and Waller's brief reply, and then your speculation follows.

I'm certain that some other conversations reported here between Agoracom members and CUU execs have been laced with misunderstandings and misinterpretations, even if the individual had the best of intentions.

It's important to remain hopeful, but we shouldn't allow our hopes to cloud reality.
