CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
48 cents. Putrid!
I'd like to blame this on Elephant Analytics' recent (and unbalanced) assessment of CUU, but we were heading in this direction long before that uncomplimentary blip on the map.
We're coming out of an AGM that gave us very little to look forward to over the next few months. Drill results some day. Oh, and the possibility of a snap buyout always hanging over us, but never seeming to happen.
The only solace I can take is reminding myself that CUU was once valued at 5 cents. Those who bought in at $1.40 back in 2007 to watch it plunge that far must have been pulling their hair out. But if they sold, they lost. Here's hoping that history repeats itself (not the 5 cents part, but the major appreciation again).
And here's hoping my wife doesn't take a peek at her portfolio anytime soon. I'm tired of trying to explain that CUU isn't dead, really!!!
