The fact that the old Salazar agreement was scrapped puts Teck completely in charge with no obligation to proceed until circumstances make it conducive to do so.

I believe the Salazar agreement would require Teck to put $300 million (approx) into pre-production activities such as drilling. If Teck's $10-15 million Phase 1 drilling is taking up the past months in 2013, when do you think the $300 million will be used up?

There are the Liard shares. People have commented that there are other parnters involved and that Teck cannot mothball this project.

The most important deal out of this JV is that Teck is willing to finance on behalf of Copper Fox. Many juniors would kill for this type of agreement.

Also and if you look into Teck, they don't have to go alone in SC, they can always partner up you know. It ends up not being a lot on the plate.
