What? 20kms - you got to be kidding. This is so big that I can't really fathom it.
All one can do is to pick a spot to dig and continue expanding it from there over the many decades that follow. That is why there is limited value to drilling other areas - No use to get an even bigger deposit when the current findings is more than enough.
The expanded pit and processing capacity sure make a lot of sense in view of this.
