Elmer is a geologist and he does not know much about metallurgy.

The material from both deposits is basicly the same:sulphides and same collector is used to recover copper/gold/silver. Generally speaking, all sulphides can be recovered using same type of collectors, and the most commonly used ones are the xanthates。

SC contains moly but this does not affect the processing flowsheet. Anyway copper is recovered first by flotation with gold and silver credits, followed by moly flotation.

Ore mixing is a common practice in almost every concentrator since ore variability always occurs even the ore is from same pit.
