that's correct - our next provincial election is in 2017; but Tck would need Federal approval after securing provincial.

EA work has already begun, and in my opinion, the BC provincial govt would fasttrack any process by Teck if they were presented with a strong application and minimal opposition.

And it seems Tck would then want to ensure the process is before the Fed Torys and decision made before the next fed election.

This is of course, only my opinion.
