The main problem with Galore is they're on the west side of the mountain range and Shaft is on the east. the water from Galore flows to the American river system and, I believe it's the Stikene river system that's particularly vulnerable, and important to the American Salmon fishery.

It was also reported the ores were incompatible and would require diferent processing proceedures.

With Galore they have both the Canadian and the American environmentalists to deal with, and the Americans won't allow another Canadian company to get all the benefits while they get all the pollution.

I think it's telling that NG can't find a buyer for their half, at an acceptable price.....chunky
