Based off tese responses you can start to understand what is going on here. QB2 priority? ahahah right??? The same project that is having regulatory issues with the country. Permitting update? Nope we have not commented on this.....ummm why not? why the secrets? Other objectives? EA activity? comments to come in our Q4 report. Look forward to that conference call! Things are definitely happening at SC but everything is hush hush.
For those that are unhappy with my last post, then ignornace is bliss...if all you read and see is old news and outdated content then I can not help you. Look beyond that see what is happening. The minister of the environment was the one who told me to use these links to further advance my understanding of the EA permitting process. Based on what she said about Schaft Creek, "the Agency and B.C.'s Environmental Assessment Office are conducting a cooperative federal and provincial environmental assessment. The federal environmental assessment for this project is being conducted pursuant to the former Act" is very important. Everyone here thought the new rules would benefit us when they came out but they do not apply to us...I found this out from our Minister, and that is crucial information. I see it as a positive for a few reasons. Schaft Creek is well known to our government and the First Nations as our project is environmental sound and friendly. Look at what people said about Schaft Creek, another document people did not know about that I brought forward. We have been through this process since 2010 and endured the public comment phase, panel review, field studies, comprehensive report, etc. What people do not see is, we could get our EA permits earlier than people think based on the history and years of communciation between managers (Teck and Copper Fox) and stakeholders, government officials. We need to submit the EA application and no more hurdles.
