My limited understanding is that in order to incorporate the inferred they needed to expand the pit walls so that they could dig deeper. The question of the inferred will not likely be settled for decades until they get down there.

Vette has outlined the stages of mine development in the post below and the engineering to expand the pit and do a final design comes after the FS and after the exploratory drilling.

That's why I think we are closer to the end without drilling, than with drilling.

This should have been expected, not a surprise and it tells us they are getting closer to putting this into production.

They need the engineering in order to submit the EA because the engineering will produce the final mine pit plan.

This is good and I really do think my timeline is accurate.
