This is from May 2013:
Our problem is not about a lack of potential, it's about weak economics. Finding more copper below the pit plan, under the mountain, or far from the mine site won't improve our economics. Proving up the waste rock, improving metallurgical recoveries, and drilling the edges of our block model will help our economics.
We've drilled the edges of the block model and done some work with the waste rock. Now we need to improve the metallurgical recoveries and do the engineering that is required to finalize the pit plan.
This is why it looks to me like they are doing what they should be doing without a big drill plan this year. What I'm not sure we are able to find out about is if they are doing much in the way of these necessary metallurgical studies.
