It was interesting how much he did mention,though, how the "stable geopolitical jurisdiction" was not that important to him for investments.
Did he say that? I find that quite interesting because it is one of the most important points that Don Lindsay always brings up when he talks about acquisitions.
For example, when they were discussing their involvement with Fort Hills recently he said:
We already generate much of our income in Canada. And consistent with our strategy of providing an investment in low-risk jurisdictions, we think Alberta is a tremendous place to invest. It's a tremendous place to do business. And you sit in my seat and look at all sorts of investment opportunities in countries around the world and consider the geopolitical risks involved in some of those countries, it sure makes Alberta look pretty good.
