I would like to hear a report of a bunch of road building equipment contracted or heading that way....

What road? They can't build the main road up Mess Creek until after they receive the permit, and they haven't even applied yet. Do you mean the Galore Road portion that is already permitted? That would be interesting.

I'm hoping they do build the new camp at the top, as has been rumoured, because I think that could be built before the permits.

There's this that happens in pre-production, but probably also needs a permit: Bulldozers will cut roads into competent rock from the top down to provide access for mining equipment to the upper benches.

There there's this that talks about how the roads are going to be built, and it can't happen until after the overburden is removed: Initial overburden and waste rock will be used to construct the roads, airstrip and crusher pad.
In the FS the "project execution plan" states the following dates that have to be adjusted for when the EA is actually submitted but the relationship between permit and road building should be the same:
- federal EA approval is expected on January 2014
- construction permits then would be on June 2014
- mobilize to site on July 2014
- complete access road March 2016
