Reflection on News

While I would like Schaft Creek wrapped up yesterday, I am glad we are advancing two other properties during the wait.
Sombrero and Van Dyke are nice bonuses but I'll feel better settled when Schaft is sold and we realize what payment we are getting for our long, loyal wait. It is nice to see Teck spend money, time and resources there which speaks to their ultimate intention. Let's hope for a great deal between TCK and CUU.
As we learned yesterday, the wait is starting to have a negative impact on individual investors, and I plan to discuss this with Elmer when we speak next. It is not my impression that our collective demographic is one of fly-by-night investors. Like the insiders, we've been holding on for sometime. The only difference is that I imagine many of our group are of more modest means than the insiders. I've had to readjust my expectations for timelines but some in the group may not have this luxury. Please know that I am very supportive of management but I think they should be briefed on the negative implications of this just the same.
I will feel best if everyone makes it to the finish line.
