Anybody that has been trading the stock market knows that anytime a JV or takeover deal is done the acquirer takes a hit on SP and the company being acquired benefits for the short term, especially with a company like CF that isn't famous for fantastic high energy PR announcements and acquisitions. If Teck was to all of a sudden announce a buyout of CF at whatever price do you think they might take a hit on their SP that day? Now that will be the day I buy some shares of Teck again!............hopefully with my profit on the shares of CF!
