Teck just bought into the project, they're not going to walk away from it now. After they received the FS they had it for months and months before they even accepted it, and then took many more months while they negotiated the JV.

My assumption is that even if they were not going to put it into production at this time, they would apply for the EA.

In order to do that they need to make a bigger pit plan to incorporate the technical drill results from last year. Then there are those optimization studies and engineering studies.

As cbew said, the BC Hyrdo study is about ready and Teck has to make a decision regarding that. Elmer recently said that BC Hydro would wait for Teck to complete the optimization studies, etc., but there would have to be some positive talks about eventually going forward.
