Interesting for sure. As others have pointed out, why act now when you can hold on to you money for another month or three, depending on the options.
If there were an impending deal, I suspose he would forfeit these options if a deal went through in the meantime. That's one potential scenario. I read another poster comment that he may have done it as a show of confidence. I doubt that, as he, and copper fox in general haven't been terribly concerned in the past by making decision, releasing news, or buying stock for the purpose of promoting the stock or bolstering confidence. I may be wrong, but that's my impression of past events.
I can't really think of another reason for urgency to act on those options. My optimism is well tempered by past experience, but this could be a positive sign.
