If no other shareholder has more than 42.55% of the outstading shares of Carmax, technically Carmax is a subsidiary of GWG, and depending on how concentrated the rest of the shares are, GWG may even have a controlling interest. Carmax's drilling results are important to GWG; unfortunately, no one seems to be paying much attention!
