I agree. Learned it the hard way in CUU. Just learned it again in LVN (even thought I sold 1/3 and not all). Hindsight I suppose.
I learned that regardless of how good the news release is, without any big money player, the stock won't move.
The big move we had back then was Stifel buying and a bunch of retail investors following. Even David Macdonald bought some too.
It's too bad we were caught in the down cycle from 2011 where a lot of big money players moved money out of commodities and our junior market followed.
Right now, with commodities deficits are coming and it feels like another commodities run is going to happen, I'm still here because I know we are closer than ever. Golfyeti is right, Teck wants to increase their copper production and SC is a really good candidate for it.
Funny thing is that I really want to know is why is it so hard to look for Schaft Creek information on Teck's website when they own 75% of it?
