It is the very fact that Teck has been significantly extending the life of Highland Valley that I think Schaft Creek is a great fit for them (and perhaps a partner). They are in the process of exploiting Highland Valley for all it's worth, although others may look at the property as a low-grade dud.

Teck has made it profitable.

When you consider the optimization studies for Schaft Creek and all the exploration potential, it could equal or surpass Highland Valley in terms of tonnage, revenues and profitability.
