Don Lindsay's closing comments are interesting however. Something to the effect that most people don't realize, even some in the industry, that what has always been the case in history is that when commodities markets go from surpluses to deficits (which they also said they see happening currently) commodity prices turn around very quickly and then assets get revalued and everybody is out trying to get in on it.
That is why Teck is aggressively trying to see if we can build the mine quicker and smaller and have a faster payback period. If they are expecting deficits or high commodities prices, they want to get SC online asap. That's why if I were to guess target of 2018/2019 deficits, working backwards, Teck would have 4-5 years to get it going. I have a feeling they need to make a decision soon on SC.
