The short position has been virtually the same now...0% of the float on 407 million shares issued...stretching back to last March/April.

I doubt that is much of a triumph when the stock is sitting at 14 cents. It might be more interesting to look at the shorts for Teck, to get a sense of whether the market thinks we are at the bottom.

BHP is saying they are moving more heavily into copper. Codelco is saying that next year they will be shipping 5% less. China is supposed to grow by 5% next year even though that is a slowdown it is more than this year.

I know we keep hearing that things could move fast once a turnaround happens but it looks like the Majors are getting themselves into position because everybody thinks there will be a deficit starting in 2016. I thnk we just need some signs that all economies are starting to recover, and then copper will move fast.
