What leads you to believe the macro picture in 2017 should be a lot better than now?

With things as bad as they are now, I don't think it is an unreasonable assumption that things should be a lot better than now.

Sure, nobody knows the future, but the markets are cyclical and we have been scaping the bottom for quite some time now. The market will turn eventually IMHO, and 2017 is a ways off...
