I think anyone who keeps an open mind to what is going on is allowed to change their mind. He gave his reasoning for thinking how he did, so rebut it if you don't agree with it? His mind may change tomorrow and that's fine too...
Honestly, we are all trying to figure this out with the little info we have available. My mind has changed on a lot of things over the last few years.
If someone colors outside of the lines of your expectations, its ok. Its not like he is changing religion, he just stated how he sees it today. A fluid opinion shows he is looking at all sides, and the sign of an intellegent investor who isn't letting his emotions about the stock drive what he thinks.
I think the 'battle the other side' mentality is what harms the board the most. I understand its easy to get caught up in it, people have stong opinions... But I think it shouldn't be about teams, ratings, rankings or who wins the argument.
