"I think oil getting hammered is a good thing - far too high for far too long"

Residual effects on workers in O&G industry defintely not a good thing. People lose jobs. Lose confidence in economy. Stop spending. Pull money out of markets, etc. Have friends working in O&G in Calgary offices and workers are scared going into the xmas holidays not knowing if the ax will fall in 2015 and they will be laid off. These are people with mortgages and familes.
