I had 39000 shares from my non-registered account transferred "in kind" today to max out my TFSA contribution for this year.

Does anyone know what that means for taxes?
I'm wondering if I claim that as being "sold" at 0.14 as the shares move into my tfsa.

Then I assume my ACB changes as though those shares were sold at that price as well.

Any comments or input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here's hoping at these levels we see a good return on our TFSA's!
