I don't find this statement very bold at all. Almost everyone knows metals are very very cyclical, you can see it in the past, it's a fact not an observation. He is simply saying if you can wait around long enough its going to turn eventually and make you money. Obviously I am not saying everything just becomes a gaurantee win in the long run, but I imagine my point is coming across.
