I don't think we should underestimate the huge value of this very strong government support - the BC Liberals want to move this forward ASAP! Cooperation from the various ministries to assist with fast tracking approvals, etc. helps everyone. Builds BC's economy, more jobs, more revenue for the province and makes the BC Libs look better going into the next election. Win, win situation.

Delaying adds a very significant risk to this equation.

If an NPD goverment gets elected next I'm sure there would be a big reversal on this and lots more red tape.

There sure is a lot for Teck to consider on both sides of the equation. This adds time sensitivity IMHO.
