The only thing I see CRA is going to audit or penalize traders is if they purposely deposited more money than it was allowed and day trade it. They make enough money to cover the penalty of over depositing the limit.

Perhaps there's more info the article didn't report?

I doubt CUU can be claimed as a business. CRA should give us a medal for hanging in there for so long honestly. haha
