Did you not even read the title of the article? The title of the article says 'Copper deficit turn into a shortage'. But that title is clearly misleading, as there is no copper shortage at this time. Hence the reason copper is at 5.5 year lows. Also, a deficit and shortage are the same thing, so the wording of that title is even more bizarre. What they do say is "The company (Glencore PLC) has also stated that it wouldn’t be surprised to see an actual deficit in 2015." But that's an opinion. That's not fact! That opinion doesn't warrant the misleading title of the article stating there is a copper shortage, when their isn't. But this kind of misleading stuff is the norm for the Wall Street Daily, so it's really not the least bit surprising. It's what they do best.
