This merger news catches me off guard. When word came out a month ago that Teck would be looking at purchasing a copper producer, I never expected them to get involved with something the size of Antofagasta. Was expecting them to maybe grab a junior producer or mid sized at the most. Time will tell if this is really true or just another rumor.
