I'm not sure how much of the road was left to build into Galore. But a lot of that equipment went on a one way ride until the road is complete. Equipment was split into pieces and flown in by a Russian Mil26 helicopter. Even if we wanted to get the equipment out nova can't. Hence they bought it. This helicopter no longer has permission to operate in Canada. and there isn't another machine with anywhere near that capacity. I wasn't on site so others will have more details but depends where the equipment is stored. Equipment was airlifted to the middle and end. Some of it might be this side of the SC turn off.
