Anon selling has been around a long long time. Use to be called a Jitney. Say a house wanted to sell shares but did not want to let anyone know it was them. They would transfer, jitney, their shares to another house for them to sell.

Now in a bid for transparency and fairness, TSX's words not mine, every broker has an anon button on their keyboard.
