Carmax Mining is a junior miner that is active in exploring a copper-moly-gold find in the Golden Triangle in British Columbia. This property is known as the Eaglehead property and is owned 100% by Carmax. This property is 613 cells covering a total area of approximately 11,410 hectares. There are six (6) identified mineralized zones on the Eaglehead property. In 2012 the company completed it's first NI 43-101 Inferred Resource Estimate on this property.

What makes this property quite exciting is not only the area that it is located in, but also being in the same vicinity as Imperial Metals Red Chris deposit, Capstone Mining's Kutcho mine (now in the development stage), Copper Fox's Schaft Creek project (resource estimate of 7.1 billion pounds copper)and Hard Creek Nickel's Turnagain project. In fact, in May of this year, Desert Fox Copper Inc. became strategic shareholder in Carmax. Desert Fox is a subsidiary of Copper Fox Minerals Inc. Copper Fox is the junior with the 7 billion pounds of copper resource estimate.

In the companies first NI 43-101 report, the estimate totals 102.5 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.29% Cu, 0.010% Mo and 0.08 g/t Au. This translates to approximately 662 million pounds copper, 22 million pounds molybdenum and 265,000 ounces gold.

This year the company work called for 4000 meters of drilling along with some line cutting, ground geophysics, metallurgical testing and old core re-logging. This work is to upgrade the classification from Inferred to Indicated Mineral Resources of the Eaglehead deposit on the property. Continue a drill program for East and Bornite, including infill drilling and drilling along strike and at depth to increase the tonnage of the deposit.

The company also has a property in Ontario. The Whiskey Jack property lies in the southwest part of the Abitibi Greenstone belt, along the Kirkland - Larder Lake break near Matachewan. The Kirkland - Larder Laker break has produced 34 million ounces of gold. The Whiskey Jack property is adjacent to AuRico Gold's Young-Davidson mine which has a proven and probable reserve of 3.7 million ounces as of December 31, 2013.
