I've seen people trying to justify the recent drop in CUU price as a result of "sell in May" urban legend.

Have you looked at the charts for CUU the past 4 years sibiu? Sell in May and go away looks like it's been pretty accurate for CUU. Go back each of the past 4 years, and note the share price beginning of May, and then compare that to the share price begining of Sept. In each of the past 4 years the share price in the early fall was lower than the share price in early May. I would say that means Sell in May and go away (as far as CUU is concerned) has historically been correct.
