Simple business.

Why would they create and share something "official" when they can keep it unofficial internally - get a good indication of increased value without completeing an official document and the disclosure that would require?

They are in the business of making money and spending the least possible on their aquisitions.

I have never understood why people think Teck is working to increase what they can buy us for? They are good corporate citizens, but not Santa Claus for junior explorers.

We may have to go mining to get our fair share.
