Well, I don’t want to flog a dead horse either but if someone says “two years”, they mean, literally, two years; when someone says “a couple of years”, especially in conjunction with specified dates, I’m inclined to give them some leeway. To argue that he meant all the way to the end of 2017 is an exercise in pedantry. For what my opinion is worth, I think you often contribute to the board in a way that makes me think hard about my own position - just not in this instance.
