I called and asked and he said a lot of that stuff was brought over used around 2007 when they closed the mine in Louvincort Que and would be getting up there in age now. He also said most of it goes to sales agents for resale to other companies. One of those agents is Mining Surplus (miningsurplus.com) and they list equipment online for sale around the world. They have a bunch of Teck stuff like haul trucks and heavy equipment from Highland Valley for sale online there. I would think that if Teck is thinking about equipment for Schaft Creek it would be new or close to new stuff as the high cost to transport and get it up there would make some of that old equipment not worthwhile. I noticed some of those haul trucks from Highland Valley which is a lot closer than Duck Pond only have an asking price of 50 to 60 thousand so it's one of those deals where it's cheap to buy but the real problem and cost is trying to figure out how to get it home....
