I've just read Carl Icahn has bought 8.5% of Freeport- McMoran, the worlds biggest Copper miner. he's filed notice of intent to buy as much as 25% of the company. his raiding forays, like this, are legendary for being sucessful. I'm sure he sees a weakness in the mgmt. or whatever that he can rectify, but he must also see a good future for the copper market or the raid wouldn't have much chance of success.

I think this news bodes well for our co. and Teck, as well as some other Canadian Copper producers. let's hope.....chunky
