I realize that it's difficult to hold a discussion about politics without it getting heated - and, normally, this ain't the forum for that except that Spitfire did ask a legitimate question - so please, if you must respond, at least keep it civilized and as on-topic as possible.

My own contribution is that Trudeau did make a policy point of consultation with the provinces, something which his predecessor wasn't known for, so everyone can at least be happy that there won't be unilateral changes at the federal level. Will it all work out in that case? Who knows, but I'm guessing that little will change. As far as I'm concerned, it's still all down to the price of copper and what Teck has in mind.
