The VD PEA is due anytime now. Within the next 2 weeks we should know the value of this deposit. This should be a huge news catalyst to propel the share price higher. Usually these economic studies that mining companies announce would warrant a higher company value.
In regards to Schaft Creek, the recent release was not what we expected but at least it has confirmed the property is a large mining district with many deposits/zones of ore. These mineralized zones will be extractable as the SC mining operation goes into maturity. What is also interesting is the 11,800 metres of historical drill cores being incorporated into the new geological model. The drilling completed by Teck in 1985 is being re-examined and collected by the JV. This is important as it could lead to an increase in the SC resource size and provide information on future drilling locations.
