Teck filed a legal complaint about Alaska severely hiking taxes over their Red Dog Mine today. They claim that it is high enough they may consider shutting down the mine.

Today's stock price could be in response to that, although the shorts covering is a good idea. Cannacord came out and said they thought Teck B shares would go as low as $1. I find that hard to believe but then who thought oil would get this low?

Teck has their quarterly report on February 11 and it should be an interesting one.
