I guess the different perspectives companies like Teck and other miners share are part of their strategy somehow... Not sure what you have to gain in calling that what you are selling has low demand and thus prices will remain low for two more years... unless you want to buy assets or scare your competitors so they won't project to produce more or build mines etc...
