I sent a email off to the Minister of Mines requesting he reverts the claims back to Carmax.

The forfeiture is covered by the Mineral Tenures Act. It's a law that states that CXM had to register exploration work against the properties or make a payment in lieu of that. Then they should have registered a revised expiry date.

They simply didn't do that. They didn't notice that it was going into forfeiture. I don't think the Minister of Mines could legally revert the claims even if s/he were sympathetic. The other people staked the claims fair and square.
