Hello all, haven't posted for so long as there wasn't much to say, just hunkered down and raising cash for some swing trades in my favorite energy and metals producers. still have all my CUU. if a serious correction occurs in the near furure I wanted to have the means to take advantage of it.
I found it odd that the last placement was so small. normally if you're going to pizz off the shareholders you would make it worthwhile and cash up for a couple of years. one mill doesn't go very far here. also, why, when insiders were taking it all, did they have to pay a 5% finders fee. strange goings on IMO.
it's interesting to see RBC scooping up the shares in the market and it makes me wonder if, after all this time, and recent activity, some entity is starting to accumulate these cheap shares. in the past, and a number of times, I wrote, "if someone wanted CUU they could buy over 40 million shares in the open market before having to declare their interest. " getting 10% on the cheap might allow a more agreeable price for the remainder.
I'm sure it's just pie in the sky, but what the heck, a little dreaming along the way doesn't hurt.
as usual, best to all..chunky
