It may make sense to you that Teck does not want to have a partner in Schaft Creek but nothing about this company makes sense. I am definately not wearing a team Elmer teeshirt so take what I write with a grain of salt. At last years AGM he said that in his opinion Teck wants to sell a majority of the stock to a major mining company ( he speculated on a couple of names but I forget who they were ) but to stay on as operator and minor share holder. They would fund their share of plant costs from sale of shares and basically get 40% of the profits forever with zero expenditure.

I personally think this will be a mine some day but that I will be having a dirt nap before they break ground.
