CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
After the deal Teck got for 75% of SC I expect them to play hardball again with EE to see if he wants out.
That's the problem I see with this company. Having majority ownership can be a blessing and curse to minority shareholders. Its a blessing in that we can't be taken over that easily but also a curse in that if EE is unreasonable in his expectations we may just sit here for a long time. EE being a billionaire, what urgent need does he have to sell out early? When I think about it, that may be part of the reason we have been stuck at these price levels so long despite metal prices rising this year. Big institutional buyers may just be avoiding this stock just because of the excessive percentage ownership of insiders. Sigh...
