I can believe that is his objective. But I thought I might just  luck out and catch his guard  down. A indication that we won't  hear anything until mid 2018 would allow me to invest in other opportunities and come back to this one.

There are other trains leaving the station but I already bought my ticket on this old clunker and the cancellation fee is over 90%. 

How I wish we had been told that the delay would take a year last year. This expecting a announcement at anytime is causing us the greatest loss.
