When selling shares which ones are you selling? I purchased a lot years ago at $1.50 - $2.00 several years ago and now have an average of $1.15. Can I buy 20,000 now for $.12 ($2400) on Monday and then sell 20,000 of the $1.15 ones ?  i would then claim a loss (20,000 x $1.15 = $23000 minus $2400 = $20600). Does that action comply with regulatios?
